The church Kilden is a charismatic, evangelical free church, built on the foundation of apostles and prophets with Jesus Christ Himself as chief cornerstone (Eph. 2:20)
As church we are open to everyone who has Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in their life and for everyone who wants to get to know Him.
What do we believe in
We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, born into this world by a virgin, Mary, died on the cross for our sakes; that He rose from the dead on the third day. Jesus is now in the Heavenlies, sitting at the right hand of the Father, waiting for people to receive His salvation.
We have a message of grace for you who are not a Christian saying that God has forgiven you. From God's point of view you are already saved. He just expects you to receive His salvation and that salvation is in JESUS CHRIST.
It is amazing to realize and experience the grace of God. By His death on the cross, Jesus paid for the whole world's sin, yours too. It is sin that separates us from God, but Jesus has solved the problem with sin by taking the punishment for sin. That's why He had to die, for the sin of the world was punished with a death sentence. In this way Jesus opened the way to God: Sin is atoned for, it is gone. God is stretching His hand to you saying, "You are forgiven."
We want all our activities to harmonize with this. We want everything to work from a personal faith in and relation to Jesus. That is possible as HE IS ALIVE.
We want to
- Worship and praise God with everything we have and are
- Teach and proclaim the Truth in the Bible
- Live in fellowship with each other - as God's family
- Minister to one another by the Holy Spirit living in us and through us
- Surround new Christians with the love of God that they may be ingrained and established in the faith of Jesus Christ
- Train and equip people to live and serve as followers of Jesus
